NKR leader, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office talk Karabakh settlementJuly 15, 2013 - 15:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic President Bako Sahakyan met the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara in Yerevan. At the meeting, the parties focused on Karabakh conflict settlement and regional trends. In his speech, President Sahakyan noted that Stepanakert supports peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group. The NKR leader stressed the necessity of restoring negotiations format approved by the OSCE Budapest Summit, adding that a comprehensive settlement is impossible without NKR’s direct participation. President Sahakyan slammed Baku’s destructive policy as key hindrance to solving the conflict, urging for escalating tensions to be given adequate response by the international community. Artsakh Republic Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk and other officials were present at the meeting, the Central Information Department at NKR President’s Office reported.
