OSCE PA Rapporteur to Visit Azerbaijan at Turn of March

PanARMENIAN.Net - OSCE Parliamentary Assembly rapporteur on Nagorno Karabakh Göran Lennmarker will pay a visit to Azerbaijan at the turn of March, said member of the Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE PA, MP Eldar Ibrahimov. The Azerbaijan delegates met with Lennmarker during the fifth winter session of the OSCE PA, held in Vienna from 23 to 27 February, he remarked. Lennmarker noted that he could not participate in the process of observation of the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan on 6 November 2005, as he was on a visit to Armenia. Lennmarker is expected to visit Azerbaijan late this March, according to Ibrahimov. A report on Nagorno Karabakh will be anew discussed in Azerbaijan and Lennmarker wants Azerbaijani and Armenian MPs to meet to discuss the report, Ibrahimov said. The MP emphasized that during his visit Lennmarker is expected to meet with refugees and IDPs. Ibrahimov noted that Lennmarker also touched upon the latest meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Robert Kocharian in Rambouillet. "He appreciated the talks and conduct of the Azerbaijani leader," the Azeri MP underscored, reported Trend agency.
