Summer School for Youth Leaders launched in Artsakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno Karabakh Republic Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs has launched a Summer School for Youth Leaders youth camp in the village of Mets Tagher, Hadrut province.

The program, to last through July 21, aims to develop leadership and management skills in the youth, to encourage them to take a more active and productive participation in beneficial programs, to develop the ability to be an effective leader and manager and improve their knowledge of English. One of the ultimate goals of the project is to create mutual cognitive environment, involve the youth in the country’s social and political environment and ensure their active participation in domestic affairs.

The training course relates to such topics as behavior based on moral values, code of professional ethics, power and authority, productivity of common and small groups.

Shant Petrosyan, head of the division for special courses in the regions of Armenia of the American University of Armenia will deliver lectures on the issues above.

The youth camp has been organized since 2007 by the division for youth affairs of the NKR Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs in the framework of the Program of Stimulation of Non-Formal Education.
