Armenia posts 30,5% export volume increase

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s foreign trade turnover totaled $477,7 mln (AMD 197,2 bln) in June 2013 increasing by 3,3% compared with the same period in 2012, according to updated statistical data.

Export amounted to $138,7 mln (AMD 57,2 bln) in June 2013, increasing by 12,9% against 2012 results. The monthly export increase totaled 30,5%.

A 0,3% decrease was recorded in import bringing it to $339 mln (AMD 140 bln,) the RA National Statistical Service reported.

The negative balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to $1 271,8 mln (AMD 526 bln) in January-June 2013 compared with the same period in 2012.
