Hollande himself confirmed the news at the meeting with the representatives of the co-ordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF). At the meeting, Hollande hailed the CCAF efforts in preservation of Armenian culture, with the Council leadership briefing the President on the project of the national center of remembrance.
