"Sin City" helmer's "From Dusk Till Dawn" series to premiere in March

PanARMENIAN.Net - Filmmaker Robert Rodriguez’s TV series adaptation of From Dusk Till Dawn is set to premiere on El Rey Network next month, with a new image having image from the show having debuted, Collider said.

From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series finds D.J. Cotrona (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) inhabiting the role of bank robber Seth Gecko (played in the film by George Clooney) and Zane Holtz (Holes) playing his violent, unpredictable brother Richard “Richie” Gecko (played in the film by Quentin Tarantino). In the 10-episode drama series, the Gecko brothers are on the run from the FBI and Texas Rangers when they take a former pastor and his family hostage and stumble upon a strip club populated by vampires. This exclusive new image is of actress Madison Davenport, who fills the role of Kate Fuller, previously played by Juliette Lewis in the film. Fuller is the daughter of former pastor Jacob Fuller and hostage of the Gecko brothers.

The show also stars Don Johnson, Robert Patrick, Jesse Garcia, Brandon Soo Hoo, Eiza Gonzalez, and Wilmer Valderrama. The pilot for From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series will premiere at the SXSW festival on March 8, followed by its television debut on El Rey Network March 11 at 9pm ET.
