OSCE mission to monitor NKR-Azerbaijan contact line

PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 19, in accordance with the agreement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic, the OSCE Mission will conduct planned monitoring of the line of contact between the NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces in the Askeran direction near Bash Karvend village, the NKR Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and his Field Assistant Jiri Aberle (Czech Republic), as well as by representative of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG) Andrey Barashkin (Russia).

The NKR authorities expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members.
