  Artsakh army takes punitive measures to ensure security at contact line January 31, 2015 - 16:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - To ensure security at the contact line with Azerbaijan, the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic’s defense army took punitive measures on Saturday, Jan 31. According to the NKR Defense Ministry’s press office, as a result of the operation at the eastern sector of the contact line, two guard posts and a vehicle were disabled. Besides, at least two Azeri soldiers were killed. About 2,200 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani armed forces were reported at the contact line from Jan 25-31. During the reporting period, some 40,000 shot were fired towards the positions of the NKR defense army. Azeris also undertook two penetration attempts, during which 3 of them were killed.
