"Minions" supervillain Scarlet Overkill featured in new trailer (video) February 4, 2015 - 10:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - "Minions" supervillain Scarlet Overkill is introduced in the second trailer for the "Despicable Me" spin-off. Landing online on Tuesday, February 3, the second trailer sees Kevin, Stuart and Bob trying to find a way to the Villain-Con, the evil version of Comic-Con, and eventually meeting the villainous character, voiced by Sandra Bullock, as they try to find a new master to serve, AceShowbiz reports. The video starts with the three adorable characters trying to hitch a car to Orlando. After arriving at the event, the trio joins other fans who are waiting for the main villain to show up. "Doesn't it feel so good to be bad?" Overkill says to cheering audience. Overkill and her inventor husband Herb (voiced by Jon Hamm), who plan to take over the world, eventually recruit the three and bring them to their house. Director Pierre Coffin who serves behind the lens with Kyle Balda talked about Overkill in a recent interview with USA Today. "Scarlet is an unusual supervillain. She is a dangerously charming woman, which could not have been easy in the late 1960s," he said. Also featuring the voice of Michael Keaton, the family-friendly flick is set to arrive in U.S. theaters on July 10.
