LG “switching to metal phones to challenge Samsung, Apple”March 24, 2015 - 17:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - LG is allegedly turning its back on polycarbonate smartphones in favour of premium handsets that will challenge Apple and Samsung's flagship devices. Industry insiders in the company's native South Korea have revealed that the LG G4 Note is the first in line for an all-metal design, Digital Spy reports citing ZDNet. The report also claims that the change of strategy has come too soon for LG's upcoming flagship G4 smartphone, which will apparently retain plastic casing. Leaked images of the LG G4 appear to indicate that it will feature a display with a slight curvature, like that of the LG Magna. Previous reports suggest the handset will feature a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel snapper on the front, with a launch within the next two months. An LG representative recently told Digital Spy that the LG G4 will be "completely different" to the previous-generation LG G3.
