The company announced on Thursday, April 2 via the show's Twitter account that the popular political drama starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright Penn would return for a fourth season next year, AceShowbiz reports. "I will leave a legacy. #Underwood2016," the show tweeted Spacey's Frank Underwood's signature line along with an image that read, "SEASON 4 COMING 2016." Production is scheduled to start this summer in Baltimore. No exact date in 2016 has been revealed. "House of Cards", based on a book and a BBC miniseries of the same name, has been a big hit since its first season aired in 2013. The series won three Emmys that year, including best director prize for David Fincher. Wright took home a Golden Globe for her role in 2014, and Spacey bagged Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards for his work on the drama earlier this year.
