PanARMENIAN.Net - How Ryan Reynolds' superhero character will look like without his mask has been revealed. The actor was spotted on the set of "Deadpool" wearing a dark hoodie and sporting a scarred-face makeup to channel his inner Wade Wilson, according to AceShowbiz.

The filming took place in the early morning hours of Thursday, April 2 in an alley behind a strip club in Reynolds' hometown of Vancouver, Canada. He was joined by fellow cast members like Gina Carano, Ed Skrein, and Morena Baccarin.

"Deadpool" tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

The movie will be released in the U.S. on February 12, 2016. Directed by Tim Miller, it gets R rating and will be made on small budget. "It's not like an X-Men movie where there's this gigantic budget," Reynolds told The Independent. "It's quite a small film. It's very difficult to weave that character into other comic movies."

The actor added, "He knows he's in a comic book. If he met Wolverine, he'd greet him as Hugh Jackman. It's tough to create a meta-universe within another universe that doesn't have any of those components."
