Armenia Celebrating 15th Anniversary of Independence

PanARMENIAN.Net - September 21 military parade marched along the Republic Square on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Independence. Chief of the RA Armed Forces General Staff, Colonel General Mikael Harutyunyan was in command of the review, which was accepted by Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan. Some 3.5 thousand of military representing various kinds of troops, 150 units of military equipment, two chains of fighters and three chains of warplanes were got to take part in the parade accompanied by gunnery out of 15 pieces of ordnance.



The review was attended by President of Armenia Robert Kocharian, President of NKR Arkady Ghukasian, RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan, NA Speaker Tigran Torosian, government members, MPs, Ambassadors and outstanding Diaspora representatives.
