Romanian President Arriving in Armenia Today

PanARMENIAN.Net - On an invitation of Armenian President Robert Kocharian Romanian leader Traian Basescu is arriving in Yerevan today. The visit aims at strengthening interstate relations, outline priority tasks and economic development directions. The private meeting of the two leaders will take place today in the residence of the Armenian President, then wider composition talks will follow. A number of joint documents between the two governments will be signed. Within the visit framework Basescu will visit the Memorial to Armenian Genocide Victims and will lay a wreath to it.



October 5 the Romanian President will meet with PM Andranik Margaryan and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. In Yerevan State University Basescu will meet with the teaching staff and students. The same day the Romanian delegation will depart from Armenia.
