EU Regrets on French Parliament Adopting Armenian Genocide Bill

PanARMENIAN.Net - The EU regretted on the French Parliament adopting in the first reading the bill on the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey in 1915, stated European Commission official representative Christina Nad. In her words, the law "will hamper reconciliation dialogue" between Turkey and Armenia over the issue. Besides, it will be a serious problem when deciding the matter of Turkey's preparation to EU accession, as Ankara refuses to recognize the fact of the Armenian Genocide, reports ITAR-TASS.
