Karabakh refutes Azerbaijani claims: no losses reported on Armenian side

PanARMENIAN.Net - Karabakh Defense Ministry refuted Azeri claims, suggesting 2 Armenian soldiers were killed and several injured in action.

Earlier, on Friday, October 2, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry issued a statement declaring that Azeri troops took retaliatory measures to prevent the Armenian armed forces’ actions, killing two Armenian servicemen and wounding others on the night of October 1-2.

Karabakh defense troops continue controlling the situation on the contact line with Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani armed forces continuously violated the ceasefire at the line of contact with Nagorno Karabakh on the night of October 1-2.

According to the NKR defense army, 80 ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani armed forces were registered, with around 1300 shots fired from various caliber weapons, including 60-, 82-mm mortars, RPG-7, AGS-17 grenade launchers.
