UN Issues Annual Human Development Report

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia ranks 80 among 177 countries of the world in the UN annual human development report issued since 1990. The rating of the countries is determined by the lifetime, level of education and the national gross product. Norway keeps the leading position during 6 years. The U.S. ranks 8. Azerbaijan holds the 99th position while Georgia is the 97th. Russia ranks 65. Turkey and Iran are 92 and 96 respectively. Niger is at the bottom of the list, reports RFE/RL.
