Ben Kingsley to topline “An Ordinary Man” thriller

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ben Kingsley has signed on to star in An Ordinary Man, a thriller from writer/director Brad Silberling (Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events), The Hollywood Reporter reveals.

Enderby Entertainment, who produced Daniel Alfredson's Venice festival title Go With Me starring Anthony Hopkins and Julia Stiles, will produce and finance An Ordinary Man.

Kingsley will play a war criminal in hiding who begins to form a relationship with his maid (played by Icelandic rising star Hera Hilmar). As the search for him intensifies, he realizes she is the only person he can trust. British actor Peter Serafinowicz (Spy, Guardians of the Galaxy) co-stars. Principle photography is set to begin next week on location in Belgrade, Serbia.

Dean Devlin's Electric Entertainment has picked up international sales for the title and will be selling the film to buyers at AFM next week. UTA Independent Film Group is handling domestic sales.
