Tbilisi Open Film Forum to feature 4 films from

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia will present 4 films from the "1915-2015" project at the Tbilisi Open Film Forum (TOFF) held in Georgia’s capital from November 4 to November 8, PanARMENIAN.Net reports.

The program includes Serge Avedikian's "Island of Dogs", Ara Yernjakyan’s "In Darkness", and Eric Nazarian’s "Bolis". The principal film of the project is German-based Turkish filmmaker Fatih Akin’s "The Cut."

More than 30 films by Georgian, Ukrainian, Kazakh, Russian, Armenian, Azerbaijani and Iranian filmmakers will be presented during the film forum, Sputnik Armenia reports citing Sputnik Georgia. The forum will be launched by Russian filmmaker Alexander Sokurov’s latest ‘Francofonia’ (France, Germany) film.

The program of the film forum includes the "Georgian panorama" section, a documentary film program, as well as "National Retrospective" featuring the film "Ukraine in Focus".

During the event discussions, interactive meetings and master classes for students will also be held.
