Google Play Books adds Night Light featureDecember 17, 2015 - 10:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Google wants to make sure you can read you e-books in bed without straining your eyes or disrupting your circadian rhythm, Digital Spy reports. That's why the web giant has added a feature called Night Light to its Play Books app for iOS and Android devices. Night Light gradually replaces the amount of harsh blue light emanating from your screen with more soothing yellows as the hour grows later. When the feature has been activated, the app will match the brightness of your display with the time of night. Amazon recently brought a similar feature to its Kindle Fire tablets in the form of Blue Shade, which gives screens a warm orange tint. Computer monitors have come with blue light-reduced reading modes for some time, and it looks like it's finally catching on in the mobile sector.
