Armenian American Museum to host community forum

Armenian American Museum to host community forum

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian American Museum will host a community forum on Sunday, Jan 17, at the St. Gregory Armenian Catholic Church, Glendale, CA.

According to Asbarez, the event will provide a presentation on the mission of the Armenian American Museum, give an overview on the current status of the project, and provide an opportunity for community-driven feedback.

This will mark the third public forum the Armenian American Museum has hosted as a part of its community outreach program. In January of 2016, presentations were held at the Glendale Kiwanis Club, in addition to two community forums which hosted strong attendance from local residents. The organization will continue to meet with a broad range of stakeholder groups and extend outreach efforts in smaller group settings to share the vision for the Museum.

The Armenian American Museum is a developing project in Glendale, CA, with a mission to promote understanding and appreciation of America’s ethnic and cultural diversity by sharing the Armenian American experience. When completed, it will serve as a cultural campus that enriches the community, educates the public on the Armenian American story, and empowers individuals to embrace cultural diversity and speak out against prejudice.
