H1N1 swine flu leaves 18 dead in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - As of January 20, 18 people have died from H1N1 swine flu virus in Armenia, Minister of Health told reporters Wednesday, January 20.

At the same time, Armen Muradyan noted that 99% of the patients have fully recovered, with many of them being discharged from hospitals, Tert.am reports.

According to Muradyan, 7 patients are currently placed on ventilators.

“94 out of 124 pregnant women, 982 out of 1230 patients with acute respiratory viruses are under supervision, with the number of sick children having decreased by 170,” the Minister stated.
