Isaac Adamson to adapt bestselling psychological thriller “The Ice Twins”February 10, 2016 - 13:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Alcon Entertainment has set Isaac Adamson, writer of the #1 script on the 2015 Black List, to adapt the psychological thriller “The Ice Twins” by S.K. Tremayne, it was announced Tuesday, February 9 by Alcon co-founders and co-CEOs Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson, TheWrap said. Adamson is a mystery novelist (“Complication,” “Tokyo Suckerpunch”) who wrote the screenplay “Bubbles,” a biopic of Michael Jackson’s beloved chimpanzee, which received the most votes on the 2015 Black List, which chronicles Hollywood’s best unproduced screenplays. “The Ice Twins” follows the relocation of a couple whose life is struck by tragedy when one of their twin daughters is killed in an accident. As the dark tale unfolds, their surviving daughter begins insisting that she is her deceased sister and gradually becomes more disturbed. Tremayne’s “The Ice Twins” was recently the #1 fiction paperback in the UK and has been on Top 10 best-seller lists in Germany, Holland, Norway, Sweden and the U.S. Kosove and Johnson will produce the movie for Alcon, whose development head Carl Rogers and creative executive Alex Tompkins will oversee development for the company. Alcon is currently in post production on the road trip comedy “Bastards” starring Owen Wilson and Ed Helms, and is in pre-production on a sequel to “Blade Runner” that will star Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford. Denis Villeneuve is directing the film, which will be executive produced by original “Blade Runner” director Ridley Scott.
