Brazil's Franco da Rocha, Karabakh's Stepanakert become twin cities

PanARMENIAN.Net - Brazil’s Franco da Rocha and Karabakh’s Stepanakert will be declared twin cities.

According to a statement, the decision adopted by the Franco da Rocha City Council will serve as a basis for the implementation of various programs and agreements to further promote social, economic, and cultural cooperation between the cities.

The draft decision was introduced by City Council member Antonio Lopes da Silva and endorsed by Mayor Francisco Daniel Celeguim de Morais.

With a population of about 145.000, the municipality of Franco da Rocha is situated in the State of Sao Paolo.
