VivaCell-MTS sums up results of Mobile Number Portability service

PanARMENIAN.Net - VivaCell-MTS summed up the results of its Mobile Number Portability service for the last 2 years.

The MNP was introduced by the decision of the PSRC, on April 1, 2014.

As a telecommunications operator, VivaCell-MTS has complied with the requirements of the legislation by investing significant resources and organizing proper training for the staff in order to implement the MNP.

The only year when more subscribers ported out than ported in was 2014 (-1,734), when the service was introduced. However, throughout 2015, more numbers ported in than ported out, with the Mobile Number Portability net gain equaling to 2,957, the biggest in the market. This year as well, more subscribers ported in than ported out as of March 31, with a net addition of 17.
