“Independence Day: Resurgence” sci-fi unveils new teaser (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - A new TV teaser for this summer’s “Independence Day: Resurgence” reveals even more menace from invading space aliens, TheWrap said.

“They’re not screaming,” a creepy long-haired Brent Spiner says at one point in the new clip of some aliens. “They’re celebrating.”

In another new scene, Maika Monroe calls out to her father, Bill Pullman‘s returning (now former) President Whitmore, who seems to have been possessed by an otherworldly force and declares, “She has arrived.”

Roland Emmerich directs the new film, a long-awaited sequel to his own 1996 blockbuster “Independence Day.”

In addition to Spiner, Pullman and Monroe, the movie stars Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher and Sela Ward.

Fox will release “Independence Day: Resurgence” on June 24.
