Azerbaijan missed target by 2km when firing from Smerch systems

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the night of April 4-5, Azerbaijan used Smerch multiple rocket launchers in battles against the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army units.

Throughout that day, the Azerbaijani side did its best to deny the systems were employed, threatening, however, to use them, “if need be.”

PanARMENIAN.Net has visited the bombarded areas in Nagorno Karabakh to capture the traces of strikes.

The rival's Smerch did no harm to the Armenian side; Azerbaijan targeted an important military objective, but missed the target by 2km.

At a briefing in Artsakh, Karabakh President's spokesman Davit Babayan said that Azerbaijan's use of Smerch systems is unacceptable.

According to official data, Azerbaijan possesses 30 Smerches purchased from Russia and Ukraine.
