Emily Blunt losing sanity in new “Girl on the Train” trailer (video) July 19, 2016 - 15:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Emily Blunt is front and center in Universal’s new trailer for the mystery “The Girl on the Train”, as her character’s post-divorce life slowly disintegrates, Variety reports. The trailer starts with her character Rachel talking about how she had watched a perfect couple from the train — “They were the embodiment of true love.” It ends with her being questioned by Allison Janney’s detective character about whether she committed a murder of her ex-husband’s nanny, Megan Hipwell (played by Haley Bennett). The trailer makes no effort to resolve the mystery. It introduces Justin Theroux who stars as Rachel’s ex-husband. Luke Evans plays Megan’s husband. The new trailer is set to Kanye West’s “Heartless.” “The Girl on the Train,” adapted from Paula Hawkins’ best-seller and directed by Tate Taylor, hits theaters on Oct. 7.
