First-ever int’l festival Artsakh EthnoFest to be held on Sept 15-17September 13, 2016 - 17:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In the framework of the policy of preservation of national identity, reproduction and propagation of national and traditional values as well as promotion of international cooperation, the Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) is launching a new international project – Artsakh EthnoFest – on September 15-17. Artsakh EthnoFest is an international festival to be held annually in Karabakh with the participation of representatives of different countries. Each festival will feature a particular trend of national culture. The first festival named Taste of Country and representing national cuisines of different countries, will be organized on September 15-17. Skilled chefs and people of various professions from France, Romania, Moldova, South Korea, Syria, Georgia, Armenia and Artsakh will take part to cook and serve their national dishes to the guests attending the event. The festival will be held on September 16 at Isahaki Aghbyur (Isahak’s Spring) resort in Shushi. French crêpes, Romanian Mamaliga, Korean rice dishes, Syrian salads and Oriental sweets, Georgian Satsivi and Artsakh's Zhengalov hats, as well as Kurkut and traditional barbecue will be presented. Foreign guests will be given the opportunity to take part in Zhengalov hats master class and contest.
