Apple's iOS 10 update causing major problemsSeptember 14, 2016 - 14:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Even if you're not planning on upgrading your device to Apple's new iPhone 7, you can still get involved in the software party by downloading iOS 10. Well, after Apple committed a serious party foul during the early launch on Tuesday, September 13 you may want to actually hold off on accepting that invite, Digital Spy said. According to countless angry social media users, iPhones and iPads ran into some installation problems when updating, with an error message popping up asking users to plug their device into a computer for a complete restore. In a statement, an Apple spokesperson said: "We experienced a brief issue with the software update process, affecting a small number of users during the first hour of availability." The Cupertino company also indicated that the issue is now resolved and apologised for bricking your device. Users should now be able to safely wander through the iOS 10 update forest, though some still reported issues amid a sea of gloating users. As always, launch periods for software can be fraught with issues, despite the gajillion beta phases in the months leading up to release. While Apple suggests you're free to update without issue, it's always best to exercise some patience until any potentially major kinks are worked out, Digital Spy said.
