  Azerbaijan employs firearms, sniper rifle in truce violations overnight October 8, 2016 - 10:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 50 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered along the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh overnight on October 7-8. Azeri forces, in particular, used various caliber firearms to fire more than 450 shots towards the Armenian positions. Also, the rival employed a sniper rifle northeast of the frontline. The Karabakh frontline units continue controlling the operative situation on the contact line and protecting their positions. A Nagorno Karabakh soldier, Hayk Hambardzumyan (b. 1996) was wounded in the Azerbaijan fire on the contact line on October 7.An investigation into the details of the incident is underway, the Karabakh Defense Army said in a statement.
