  Azerbaijan shells Karabakh positions on night of Oct 18-19 October 19, 2016 - 10:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Over 35 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered along the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh overnight on October 18-19. Azeri forces, in particular, used various caliber firearms to fire more than 6100 shots towards the Armenian positions. Also, Azeri troops employed a large-caliber machine gun (1160 shots) south of the contact line. To suppress the rival's attacks, the Karabakh frontline units retaliated to continue controlling the situation on the contact line. Some 20 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered along the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh overnight on October 17-18.
