Kings of Leon score their first No. 1 album on Billboard 200

PanARMENIAN.Net - Kings of Leon score their first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with "Walls". The band's seventh studio album debuts atop the chart with 77,000 total copies sold this week, including 68,000 in traditional album sales, AceShowbiz said citing Nielsen Music.

Kings of Leon earns their first chart-topping album, 13 years after making their debut on the chart with their first album "Youth & Young Manhood" in 2003. "Walls" is the band's fourth Top 10 album following "Mechanical Bull", "Come Around Sundown" and "Only by the Night".

At No. 2 on this week's Billboard 200 is Drake's former No. 1 "Views" with 40,000 units. The "Suicide Squad" soundtrack rises to No. 3 with 35,000 units. The Game's "1992" debuts at No. 4 with 32,000 units while Twenty One Pilots' "Blurryface" climbs to No. 5 with 26,000 units.

JoJo makes her return to the Billboard 200 chart after 10 years with her new album "Mad Love.", which bows at No. 6 with 25,000 units. The original Broadway cast recording of "Hamilton" rises to No. 7 with 23,000 units. Ariana Grande's "Dangerous Woman" ascends to No. 8 with 22,000 units, while Travis Scott (II)'s "Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight" climbs to No. 9 with 21,000 units.
