A Tribe Called Quest returns to Billboard 200 No. 1 spot

PanARMENIAN.Net - A Tribe Called Quest returns to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart after 20-year wait. The sixth studio album by the hip-hop group, "We Got It From Here... Thank You 4 Your Service", sells 135,000 equivalent album units in its first week, including 112,000 in traditional album sales, AceShowbiz said citing Nielsen Music.

The album is ATCQ's second No. 1 album on the chart, following "Beats, Rhymes and Life", which topped the list in August 1996. "We Got It From Here... Thank You 4 Your Service" serves as the group's last studio album. It was their first release since 1998's "The Love Movement" and the first project since the passing of Phife Dawg in March of this year.

On Friday, November 18, ATCQ released the music video for "We the People....", and earlier this month, the group hit the stage on "Saturday Night Live", where they played a set of old and new hits. In a recent interview, the group talked about the possibility of a world tour in support of their latest album.

The rest of the new top 10 on the Billboard 200 is scheduled to be announced on November 21.
