“SNL” alum Molly Shannon to guest star on CBS comedy “Life in Pieces”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Molly Shannon will guest star in an episode of “Life In Pieces” on CBS, Variety has learned exclusively.

The “Saturday Night Live” alum will play Allie, a private chef who is hired by Jen (Zoe Lister-Jones) and Greg (Colin Hanks) to cook them a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner, but when she has too much to drink, everything goes haywire.

No date has been locked in for Shannon’s episode, though it will air in February, timed to Valentine’s Day. The series airs Thursday nights at 9:30 p.m.

Shannon is one of many guest stars who have appeared on “Life In Pieces.” Guests this season include Andy Richter, Megan Mullally, Nick Offereman, Charlie Puth, Lyle Lovett, Cary Elwes, football legend Kurt Warner, boxing champion Victor Ortiz, model Jasmine Tookes and social media sensation Lilly Singh.

Shannon is currently starring on Sarah Jessica Parker’s HBO show “Divorce,” which was recently renewed for Season 2. She was recently on Netflix’s “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp,” and has a slew of film roles lined up, including the comedy “Fun Mom Dinner,” opposite Toni Collette.
