  Armenia going to enlarge peacekeeping contingent in KosovoSeptember 6, 2007 - 19:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - "During the meeting with NATO Secretary General we discussed reorganization of the armed forces, specifically increase of number of civilians at military posts and final establishment of civilian government in Armenia," RA Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian told a news conference in Yerevan. "The NATO-Armenia Individual Partnership Action Plan is of great importance for our country. Civil control over the army is growing," he noted. Touching upon Armenia's peacekeeping missions, the RA FM said that the contingent in Kosovo will be doubled and will reach 100 people. "The issue will by finally resolved by the yearend," he said. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
