"Neither peace nor war" situation keeps Armenia on alert
The CSTO doesn't need a radical reform, according to Armenia's President.

"Membership in the CSTO is beneficial for Armenia. We formed our armed forces on the basis of the soviet doctrine. Our armament is either soviet or Russian and it should be constantly modernized and replenished. The CSTO offers this possibility. We have privileges in military and technical cooperation," Serzh Sargsyan said.

Asked whether the issue of armament delivery was discussed during his Moscow visit, Mr Sargsyan said, "We referred to the military and technical cooperation. This doesn't exceed the CFE provisions. We have nothing to conceal. But "neither peace nor war" situation keeps Armenia on full alert," Kommersant reports.
