Syrian army launches heavy attack on militants in Idlib

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a heavy attack on the militant positions in the southern countryside of Idlib on Saturday, January 12 afternoon, Al-Masdar News cited a source from nearby Hama city as saying.

According to the source, the Syrian Arab Army launched several surface-to-surface missiles and artillery shells towards the defenses of the militants in the towns of Al-Taman’ah and Sukeek.

The attack was conducted in response to the sporadic attacks that have been carried out by the militants on the Syrian Arab Army’s positions along the Hama-Idlib axis.

In addition to the attack on southern Idlib, the Syrian Arab Army also heavily targeted Jaysh Al-Izza’s positions inside the town of Al-Latamnah, which is located in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate.
