Issues related to bilateral cooperation and development prospects were high on the agenda. The meeting specifically focused on the possibility of investing and implementing new projects in the future. Also, Pashinyan and Belozerov exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation in the field of ferry transportations via the Black Sea to Russia. In earlier reports, however, Russian Railways (RZhD), Russia's fully state-owned railway company, was rumored to be preparing to break the agreement with the Armenian authorities, claiming that the latter are blocking the operation of its subsidiary, the South Caucasus Railway, which manages the Armenian railways.
