Coronavirus: Armenia reports record daily rise in new deaths![]() October 27, 2020 - 11:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 1600 to reach 80,410 on Tuesday, October 27 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. Fresh figures also revealed that 652 more people have recovered, a record 26 patients have died from Covid-19, while eight others carrying the virus have died from other causes in the past 24 hours. A total of 3397 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said. So far, 51,814 people have recovered, 1222 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 347 others carrying the virus have died from other causes. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
