Karabakh army downs Azerbaijani drone

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army shot down an Azerbaijani army drone on Wednesday, October 28 morning.

Armenian Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan shared a picture and a video of the drone on Facebook.

Since the beginning of hostilities in Karabakh, the Armenian side has destroyed more than 200 UAVs belonging to the Azerbaijani army, including Israeli-made Harop and Turkish Bayraktar drones.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
