Karabakh army silences Azeri troops' pre-offensive maneuvers in the northNovember 3, 2020 - 10:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On late November 2 and the early hours of November 3, the Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Army conducted defensive battles on the eastern, southeastern and southern fronts. Through accurate fire, the Armenian units have struck the adversary’s vehicles and troops, including one tank. On the eastern front, the Defence Army has pulled back from a small section for tactical reasons, in order to take more suitable positions for future battles. In the morning, the Defence Army conducted precision strikes on the adversary’s vehicles and troops as they attempted to advance on the southern front. The Azerbaijani side suffered damages and was forced to retreat to its original position. The army units also silenced pre-offensive maneuvers by the adversary on the northern front. The Azerbaijani side continues to make attempts to gain a tactical advantage. The Defence Army, though, is in control of the tactical situation. Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
