Spain's Santa Pau recognizes Karabakh's sovereignty

PanARMENIAN.Net - The municipality of Santa Pau has recognized the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), according to a motion published by the Foreign Ministry of Artsakh.

Santa Pau has also condemned military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh on September 27, as well as Turkwy's active intervention in hostilities and the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani armed forces.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev on November 9 signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side has returned all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
