Official: Armenia collected AMD 1.385 trillion in revenue in 2020January 25, 2021 - 19:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian government has collected AMD 1.385 trillion (around $2.7 billion) in revenue in 2020, said Karen Tamazyan, the Head of Tax Administration Organization, Control and Monitoring Department at the State Revenue Committee, on Monday, January 25. The country had initially estimated that it would receive AMD 1.607 trillion (approximately $3.1 billion) in revenue last year but was forces to revise down its own forecast due to the coronavirus pandemic, Tamazyan added. After the revision, he said, the State Revenue Committee was expected to gather AMD 1.326 trillion (more than $2.5 billion) throughout the year but managed to collect AMD 1.385 trillion after all. According to him, the country's thousand largest taxpayers account for the 71.3% of all the revenue collected in 2020.
