Karabakh official: Azeris withdraw from positions they moved to earlier

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani troops have again withdrawn from positions they advanced to earlier in the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Martakert, the head of one of the local communities has said, according to Aysor.am.

Chief of Nor Ghazanch community Ruslan Arstamyan noted that the incident marked the second time that the Azerbaijani military advanced towards the Armenian side in the same spot and withdrew.

The previous time, the Azeris pulled back to their original posts only after the Russian peacekeeping contingent weighed in.

Arstamyan described the current situation among the villagers as "normal", adding that shootings have not been heard.
