Karabakh firefighters battling fire caught in Azerbaijan's shooting

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani military on Wednesday, August 17 targeted firefighters trying to contain a fire in a 3 ha territory in Nagorno-Karabakh, which had started as a result of Azerbaijan's earlier shelling of the area.

According to the Armenian Defense Ministry, the Karabakh side has not suffered casualties as a result of Azerbaijan's shooting.

The Russian peacekeeping contingent deployed in the area since the end of the Second Karabakh War in late 2020 has been notified about the incident.
