ANC, Heritage still negotiating

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian National Congress rejected Heritage party's proposal to nominate Armen Martirosyan as a single candidate for the post of Mayor of Yerevan. The ANC did not even invite Heritage party members for a meeting, during which it was decided that Levon Ter-Petrosyan will head the ANC list while Stepan Demirchyan will be the second.

Asked by a PanARMENIAN.Net whether the third position is vacant for a Heritage party member, ANC spokesman Arman Musinyan said there is no exact decision on the issue yet.

"The format and list of opposition candidates will be made public till March 22," he said.
