Karabakh serviceman wounded in Azerbaijan's ceasefire violation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) serviceman Vruyr Shahramanyan was injured in Azerbaijan's ceasefire violation from across the contact line on Friday, September 17, the Defense Army reports.

The command of the Russia peacekeeping contingent has been informed about the incident, which happened in the western section of the line of contact.

The Russian peacekeepers were deployed in Karabakh on November 10, immediately after Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev signed a statement to end the war after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side returned all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
