Azerbaijan opens fire on Armenian positions

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani troops on Friday, October 15 opened fire on the Armenian positions in the province of Ararat, as a result of which a barn and haystacks belonging to one of the locals caught fire, the Defense Ministry reveals.

No casualties were reported among the military or the civilian population.

Six Armenian soldiers were wounded in the Azerbaijani army's attack on Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) a day earlier, the Defense Army reported.

Azerbaijani forces violated Armenia’s border in several sections in the provinces of Syunik and Gegharkunik on May 12 and 13 and are still refusing to withdraw their troops from the area. Since then, almost a dozen Armenian servicemen have been killed in Azerbaijan’s shooting, a dozen others have been wounded.
