Turkey mulls opening border crossing with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The possibility of opening a border crossing with Armenia was discussed at a meeting between Turkish Minister of Trade Mehmet Mus and a group of officials from Kars on Tuesday, February 8.

The news comes on the heels of he first meeting between the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey, which took place on January 14 in Moscow, which the Armenian Foreign Ministry said was conducted in a "positive and constructive atmosphere."

Turkish and Armenian envoys will next meet in Vienna on February 24 for the second round of negotiations on normalizing relations between their countries.
